Safer Hastings Partnership - Meet The People: Tuesday 21st September 5pm - 7pm: Council Chamber, Town Hall

What do you think about crime and anti-social behaviour in Hastings? That’s one of the questions the Safer Hastings Partnership will be posing at its ‘Meet the People’ event in September. The event is aimed at community groups across Hastings & St Leonards and will provide an opportunity for them to hear directly from those who make decisions about community safety in the town.

Chief Inspector Mark Ling, who is Sussex Police’s District Commander for Hastings, will be joined by Mrs Carole Shaves MBE JP (chair of the Safer Hastings Partnership), Councillor Jay Kramer and Hastings Borough Council’s Head of Regeneration & Community Services Monica Adams-Acton. They will give an update on activity to make the town safer, as well as the future challenges we are facing.

The majority of the event, which will be held at the Town Hall from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday 21st September, will be a Q&A with the panel where community groups can ask questions and their views will be sought about how the Safer Hastings Partnership can better engage with the local community and representative groups to find out their views.
