Terms and conditions for HVA training

Deadline for booking onto training:
The normal deadline for bookings is two weeks before the training. At the deadline date HVA will assess whether the course is viable.


Payment for training:
If there is a charge for training, this needs to be paid two weeks before the training. Cheques can be made payable to Hastings Voluntary Action. Alternatively you may be able to provide a purchase order number or request that HVA sends you an invoice. 
Bookings can not be confirmed until payment is secured.
If the cost of HVA's training causes your organisation any difficulties, contact HVA's Deputy Director (peter@hvauk.org), explaining the reasons.
Confirmation of bookings:
Bookings will normally be confirmed at least a week before the training.
Cancellations, refunds and substitutions:
Bookings can be cancelled and refunded up to a week before the training.
Cancellations after that point, or non-attendance on the day, will either not be refunded (for those that paid), or charged the cost price (for “free” places).
You can substitute a different person from your organisation to use the training place, as long as HVA is notified in advance.
Exceptions are at the discretion of HVA's Deputy Director.
Changes to the advertised training:
HVA reserves the right to alter any advertised venues, dates and/or trainers. We will endeavour to run all publicised training, and will only cancel a session if absolutely necessary. If this happens we will try to give you as much notice as possible, and offer a free transfer on to an equivalent training session, or a full refund.
