TIES Project: Developing Voluntary and Community Sector Support Across The Whole Of East Sussex

We want to help Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) groups become better equipped at coping with constant and increasing demands for their services. With this in mind, new and improved ways of supporting the VCS are being developed across East Sussex by 3VA, Hastings Voluntary Action (HVA), Rother Voluntary Action (RVA) and Action in rural Sussex (AirS) as part of the Transforming Infrastructure East Sussex (TIES) project.
This project will see us working closely with VCS groups across the county to try and meet any unmet support needs and develop the capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of the sector. Through BIG Lottery funding we have just over a year (until October 2013) to gather ideas for the support needs of the VCS, develop lines of communication between businesses and VCS groups, and pilot new services.
The TIES partner organisations stress our commitment to building on our existing services and to track our support of the sector. The TIES project gives us a real opportunity to explore new ways to support, build and help the sector sustain itself. This is an unprecedented opportunity to see the support you need developed. Help us to understand your needs and we will do our best to transform infrastructure support in East Sussex as you want it.
